The Portland Marathon is proud to announce the unofficial (it takes about a week to finalize and release official results) winners of the Portland Marathon and Portland Marathon Half.
Jameson Mora, age 29, of Arroyo Grande, Calif., took first place in the men’s division of the Portland Marathon with a time of 2:20:53. Mora also won the event last year. This is not the first time in the history of the 42-year-old event that someone has won back to back Portland Marathons.
Rachel Jaten, age 38, of Spokane, Wash., took first place in the women’s division of the Portland Marathon.
For the men’s division of the Portland Marathon, Tyler Dudley, age 23 from Portland, and Julian Spence, age 27 from Anglesea, Victoria, Australia, took second and third place respectively with times of 2:29:50 and 2:30:03.
For the women’s division of the Portland Marathon, Devon Yanko, age 31 from San Anselmo, CA, and Hayley McKeen, age 32 from Portland, took second and third place respectively with times of 2:50:52 and 2:57:01.
Half Marathon men’s top three finishers were: Shamus Eaton, 26, time of 1:08:31; Dustin Lieb, 30, time of 1:10:29; and Rob Schlegel, 28, time of 1:13:08. All from Portland.
Half Marathon women’s top three finishers were: Yoshiko Sakamoto, 34, from Portland, time of 1:26:24; Milah Frownfelter, 36, from Seattle, time of 1:29:31; and Suzanne Le Febre Biehl, 47, from Albuquerque, N.M, time of 1:32:38.
